"Working with Barb to buy our first home was the best decision we could have made. She came highly recommended from numerous professional connections and made the home buying process much easier and less stressful than it could have been. Not only does she have great knowledge of the areas we looked in (northwest suburbs), but no question of the home buying process went unanswered. She was incredibly responsive throughout the whole process and answered emails, texts, and calls promptly. She was also able to accommodate our preference to only view on weekends, which meant she scheduled 5-8 viewings at a time with short notice. We valued her opinion and input on the houses and areas we looked at, and coached us through what to look at and for with each property we visited.

Though her professionalism and expertise are on point, perhaps the greatest thing about working with Barb is that she advocated for us through the entire process - before, during, and after our purchase. We had a medical emergency during the middle of attorney review and were not able to make decisions. Barb showed both professionalism and a great deal of empathy, and stepped in to talk to the selling agent to keep the sellers calm while they waited for our response. After we finally closed, she still made herself available and took our calls for questions we had about our new property, which was again invaluable.

We would absolutely recommend Barb to anyone looking to buy or sell, and when it comes time to upgrade she'll get a call from us!"

"Barb was a great adviser and participant in this transaction. She did excellent work getting our house ready and then helped us through a fast paced selling as our house sold in 2 days. It was great that Barb also had legal suggestions as we did not have a real estate attorney in mind and the one she suggested was perfect. I would be 110% confident to recommend Barb to anyone else who is looking for a realtor in the NW Suburbs of Chicago. She knows the market and knows all the details of the transaction."

"We listed our house with Barb Cullen and Baird & Warner, but as soon as we sign the contract the relationship started to deteriorate. We had to ask when the pictures will be schedule, and then we went live with no pictures for a couple days. And once we went live on the internet, there was poor follow-up from her. I had to call her every time to get an update or get some feedback from agents that requested a viewing. She relied solely on the app feedback that the viewing agents may or may not fill out. There was absolutely no follow-up on her part unless I call to ask her. Within the first 3 days of us being posted on the internet she wanted to lower our price. In the end, because we had to move out of state, I agreed to significantly lower the price. Just to find out that my house appraised above my original asking price. Barbara did not have good knowledge of our community nor in my experience good negotiation skills to sell my house, due in part to her lack of knowledge of our community and the value of our home. I get that it's easier for seller agents to make a quick sell at a lower price but if someone is willing to give up $15K in commission then they expect some value out of it, and just posting pictures on the internet is something I could have done myself.
She might be a good buyer's agent but in my opinion, she's not a seller's agent."
